In recent years, students from Olympia Primary, Secondary and High Schools of the Sakura - Olympia School System have always actively participated in the competition rounds of the World Scholar's Cup - the world's largest team academic competition. And this year, SOers continue to maintain that proud tradition at the World Scholar's Cup 2024.
World Scholar's Cup is International team academic competition initiated by the organization of the same name for students from 8 to 18 years old around the world. The contest was born with the purpose of creating an international playground for children to express themselves and challenge their knowledge in different fields. Each year, the competition attracts tens of thousands of students from more than 65 countries around the globe.
Right from the 2024 World Scholar's Cup Qualifiers on June 3-5, 2024 at the Da Nang bridgehead, you have excelled and achieved many impressive results. 18 SOers contestants divided into 06 teams, including 03 Skittles teams (Primary level) and 03 Junior teams (Secondary level) brought home a total of 62 medals and 06 prestigious trophies, of which 05 teams won a ticket to the Global round.
As the representative of Sakura - Olympia attending the Global Round held in Bangkok, Thailand in September 2024, Duong Bao Kha, an 8th grade student at Olympia Primary, Middle and High School, continues to reap many successes, proud achievement when competing with more than 4,000 scholars from 35 countries and territories.
