School-level Outstanding Teachers Competition Academic Year 2025–2026

Date Submitted: 20/01/2026

As the school enters the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year, alongside in-depth professional training and first-semester review activities, teachers at Olympia—from Primary to High School—are actively preparing for the School-level Outstanding Teachers Competition. This annual professional event plays a significant role in the school’s long-term strategy for teacher development.

The competition is not merely an evaluation of teaching performance; it serves as an academic forum where progressive educational thinking, effective teaching practices, and authentic classroom challenges are openly shared, discussed, and refined.

With the goal of fostering sustainable professional growth, the 2025–2026 School-level Outstanding Teachers Competition encourages teachers to engage in continuous self-improvement and to innovate their teaching practices in line with a student-centered approach. Through this platform, Olympia aims to cultivate a collaborative professional environment where teachers learn from one another and collectively enhance the quality of teaching and learning across the school.

Participants in the competition complete two closely connected components that bridge pedagogical thinking and classroom practice. The first component is the presentation of Teaching Improvement Measures, in which teachers analyze real classroom challenges—particularly those related to student behavior, cognition, and engagement—and propose practical, evidence-based instructional solutions. The second component involves live classroom teaching, where teachers deliver thematic lessons in real learning environments, demonstrating their ability to design learning activities, manage classroom situations effectively, and assess students’ progress authentically.

The competition officially begins with the Teaching Improvement Measures Presentation on January 8, 2026. This opening session provides a meaningful professional platform for teachers to share their educational perspectives, classroom problem-solving approaches, and innovative solutions that have been or will be implemented in Olympia’s teaching practice. These presentations also serve as valuable professional learning resources for the wider teaching community.

The Teaching Improvement Measures Presentation provides an opportunity for teachers to learn from one another’s teaching methods, classroom organization, and classroom management strategies, inspiring new developments in their own classrooms.

During the presentation, in addition to professional teaching topics, teachers also addressed issues related to students’ behavior, cognition, and level of engagement, and proposed appropriate pedagogical solutions.

Following the presentation session, the judging panel will conduct classroom observations of participating teachers’ lessons. The evaluation process is carried out with fairness, objectivity, and a developmental focus, emphasizing meaningful educational impact, innovation, and authentic teaching effectiveness rather than formalistic performance.

Following the presentation, the judging panel conducted classroom observations of teachers’ lessons based on the registered topics.

Through the School-level Outstanding Teachers Competition, Olympia reaffirms its consistent educational philosophy: teachers are the driving force of educational innovation. The school remains committed to creating an environment where educators are encouraged to experiment, innovate, and continuously strengthen their professional capacities while spreading positive educational values to their students.

The 2025–2026 competition is not only a professional assessment but also the starting point of a series of upcoming stories featuring high-quality lessons and inspiring teaching practices. These narratives will offer authentic insights into the dedication, expertise, and innovative spirit of Olympia’s teaching staff.
