COOL OFF THIS SUMMER WITH THE COLOR SPLASH FESTIVAL AT SAKURA KINDERGARTEN
Date Submitted: 18/07/2025
No need to travel far — the most exciting summer adventure happened right on the school grounds! With the aim of creating a safe, joyful, and liberating space for children to explore, play, and bond with their parents, teachers, and friends, Sakura Kindergarten — part of the Sakura - Olympia School System — hosted its annual Color Splash Festival 2025.
More than just a fun day, the festival offered little ones the chance to grow through messy yet meaningful play — each game a small lesson in physical agility, emotional development, and essential life skills.
With irresistible activities like Sliding in Soap Water, Family Splash Time, Dancing in the Water, and Dream Boat Launch, our Sakura students enjoyed endless moments of joy, creativity, and connection with their parents.
Among the festival’s most popular spots were the Fish Catching Zone and Cloud Hunting Pool — constantly buzzing with cheerful giggles, sparkling eyes, and tiny hands on a mission to chase floating bubbles and swift little fish.
Handmade boats floated gently across the water, carrying childhood dreams and laughter.
The entire schoolyard transformed into a fairyland with fluffy soap “clouds” — the perfect playground for imaginations to take flight.
The water balloon battle brought cool relief to the summer heat, while building teamwork, reflexes, and lots of unforgettable moments.
White T-shirts turned into rainbow canvases as children and parents imprinted handprints and splashed colors freely — a celebration of creativity, connection, and growing up with joyful messes.
The water dance zone invited families to shake, laugh, and soak in the fun before plunging into the cool pool.
The swimming area became a lively space for bonding, where parents and kids splashed and played side by side.
A bubbly slide offered a thrilling ride through foam and laughter, helping children overcome fear, explore new sensations, and embrace adventure.
In the fish pond, tiny “hunters” eagerly chased after swimming fish — some caught one, some just stirred the water with glee, but everyone left with stories and smiles (and a few new scaly friends!).
As the festival came to a close, the joy lingered — in every giggle, every sparkling eye, and every tie-dyed shirt. Each game, each splash, each burst of color was a memory in the making.
Thank you to all the parents and children who joined hands with Sakura to create a truly unforgettable Saturday morning — and a summer full of color, happiness, and love!
