End-of-Year Parent-Teacher Meetings 2024–2025
Date Submitted: 25/05/2025
Throughout May 2025, the Sakura - Olympia School System successfully organized its annual end-of-year parent-teacher meetings across all levels: Kindergarten, Primary & Middle, and High School. These gatherings went beyond academic summaries; they provided meaningful opportunities for families and educators to connect, reflect, and align in support of each student's growth and development.
At Sakura Kindergarten, the meeting held on May 17 was conducted in both in-person and online formats, ensuring accessibility for all parents. It was a heartfelt moment to look back on the children's journey over the school year, from their first steps into independence to becoming more confident, empathetic, and cooperative. The warm, open conversations between teachers and parents reaffirmed the school's commitment to a nurturing and values-based educational environment.
In-person parent-teacher meetings held in Sakura classrooms
Sakura Kindergarten also held online meetings to ensure parent participation and convenience
For the Primary and Middle levels of The Olympia School, a 1-on-1 rotating meeting model was implemented, allowing parents to meet individually with homeroom teachers, Cambridge program instructors, and subject teachers. This structure ensured comprehensive feedback on students’ academic progress, personal development, and learning behaviors. These personalized conversations helped strengthen the school-family partnership, paving the way for continued collaboration in the next academic chapter.
The 1:1 meeting format allowed Olympia Primary & Middle parents to have in-depth discussions with teachers about their child's learning progress
At the High School level, the group meeting format focused on providing parents with an overview of student performance and development throughout the semester and academic year. Homeroom teachers shared key updates and worked with families to discuss future goals and readiness for national exams and higher education pathways.
The strong connection between high school teachers and parents during the meetings helped identify shared solutions to guide students through this critical transition period
These parent-teacher conferences not only reflect the school’s professionalism and dedication to personalized education but also embody the educational philosophy of Sakura - Olympia: "Character Formation – Peak Conquest – Happiness Building." The school believes that strong, consistent communication and collaboration between parents and educators are essential to nurturing students in all dimensions—morally, physically, and intellectually.
As the 2024–2025 academic year concludes, Sakura - Olympia extends sincere gratitude to all parents for their trust and continued support. We remain committed to fostering a positive, caring, and future-ready learning environment where every student is empowered to grow and shine in their unique way.
