The final day of Gratitude Month at Sakura-Olympia concluded with the vibrant Sport Day 2024 Festival, organized by Sakura Kindergarten. It was a day filled with joy and bonding, where children could engage in fun activities, build physical fitness, and foster connections with their parents, classmates, and teachers. The event provided a meaningful playground for the children to enhance their agility, skills, and teamwork through games and exercises, showcasing their remarkable efforts and determination.

The event drew enthusiastic participation from parents across all kindergarten grades. 

Ms. Phan Thi Xuan Tram, Principal of Sakura Kindergarten, delivered an inspiring opening speech, setting the stage for the vibrant festivities.

Drum & Flag Performance by Himawari, is an impressive display of rhythm and coordination.

Parasol Dance by Yuri is a charming routine set to “Better When I’m Dancing.”

Unified Dance Performance of “Such a Happy Day” by Fuji, Yuri, and Himawari, radiating joy and teamwork.

Elegant Silk Dance by Himawari students showcases artistic expression.

Kumitaisou Routine by Himawari is a synchronized demonstration of strength and unity that left the audience in awe.

Hula Hoop Dance by Himawari blends fitness with creativity.

Engaging and Meaningful Activities

Sport Day wasn’t just about athleticism; it was a platform to instill environmental consciousness and teamwork. Activities included:

- Relay Races and Conservation Challenges, where children learned about preserving endangered species.

- Games crafted from recycled materials, creatively designed by Sakura teachers, emphasizing sustainability.

Noteworthy activities across grades included:

"Protect Endangered Animals" for Ume and Kiku students and their parents, fostering a love for nature.

"Target Toss", are joy-filled games for Fuji families.

"For a Green Planet", Himawari students tackled tasks such as saving water, planting trees, and conserving energy.

"Smart and Agile Kids", where Yuri students practiced market skills, ingredient preparation, and waste sorting to reinforce environmental lessons.

For parents, the event featured lively games like "Hat Capture Horse Ride" and "Two-Person, Three-Legged Race," strengthening ties between families, teachers, and the school.
