This annual activity aims to strengthen awareness, enhance emergency response skills, and proactively ensure safety within the school environment.

The training program is an annual activity designed to reinforce awareness among teachers and staff throughout the system regarding fire prevention and firefighting, as well as skills for handling emergencies when incidents occur.
Fire Prevention, Firefighting & Rescue Training: Essential Preparation for a Safe Learning Environment
Fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue work have always been identified by the Sakura - Olympia School System as a critical task closely associated with the responsibility of ensuring safety for students and all administrators, teachers, and staff. The annual organization of the Fire Prevention, Firefighting, and Rescue Police Department training not only enables the school community to regularly update professional knowledge but also serves as an opportunity to reinforce risk prevention awareness in all teaching and learning activities.
Through the 2025 training program, content related to fire safety, incident response, and emergency evacuation skills was delivered systematically, helping teachers and staff remain proactive, calm, and ready to respond when unexpected situations arise.

Officers from the Fire Prevention, Firefighting, and Rescue Police Department of Da Nang City Police discussed with teachers and staff across the system the importance of fire prevention and firefighting work at educational facilities.
Enhancing Awareness and Emergency Response Skills
The training program was designed with the objective of equipping administrators and staff with essential legal knowledge and practical skills related to fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue. Through direct guidance from police officers, teachers, and staff were introduced to legal regulations concerning fire safety and occupational safety, while gaining a clearer understanding of each individual’s role and responsibility in preventing and handling incidents within educational institutions.
In addition, the program helped participants thoroughly understand the operating principles, inspection procedures, proper use, and maintenance of fire prevention and firefighting equipment installed at the school, thereby improving coordination and effective response when fire, explosion, or accident situations occur.
Training Content Closely Linked to the School Environment
In the professional content section, officers from the Fire Prevention, Firefighting, and Rescue Police Department analyzed the common causes leading to casualties during fires, while also identifying potential risks present in daily activities and the working environment. Information regarding firefighting forces, fire response procedures, and the school’s firefighting equipment system was presented in detail, helping teachers and staff clearly understand the role of the on-site firefighting force in initial response and rescue support.
Emergency evacuation and safe escape skills during fires were emphasized as critical factors in protecting lives in emergencies. The ability to distinguish and correctly use different types of fire extinguishers suitable for specific fire conditions also helped strengthen the school staff’s practical situation-handling capacity.

According to the officers, Sakura – Olympia has been fully equipped with the necessary facilities and equipment for fire prevention, firefighting, and emergency evacuation in the event of an incident.
Practicing Firefighting Response in Emergency Situations
Alongside the theoretical sessions, the training program allocated time for hands-on practice using fire extinguishers. Under the guidance of the firefighting force, administrators, teachers, and staff of Sakura – Olympia directly operated equipment and practiced handling simulated fire scenarios in accordance with proper technical procedures.
The practical exercises not only helped participants reinforce the knowledge delivered during the training but also developed calmness, reflexes, and coordination when facing emergencies, thereby improving real-life response effectiveness.
