The Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO) 2024-2025 has started and completed the first round. This is an annual leading intellectual playground, attracting hundreds of thousands of contestants from many countries and territories to participate. TIMO is a gathering place for candidates who love and are passionate about mathematics while promoting creative thinking abilities, developing problem-solving skills, and expanding international cultural exchanges.

Right from the qualifying round taking place on October 19&20, 2024, the contestants faced unpredictable challenges. The competition round takes place in an online format and includes 25 English - Vietnamese bilingual multiple-choice questions, revolving around the topics of Logical Thinking, Arithmetic/Algebra, Number Theory, Geometry, and Combinatorics, requiring candidates to think quickly and accurately. The test time is limited to only 60 minutes. 

With focus and thinking ability, 21 Olympia contestants excellently passed the qualifying round and won tickets to advance to the next round. Along with the four contestants who have conquered the TIMO 2023-2024 tournament and are exempt from this year's qualifying round, the Olympia squad at the TIMO 2024-2025 National Round scheduled to take place in December 2024 has been revealed.
