As an annual art competition at Sakura - Olympia, Golden Painter is more than just a showcase for young artists. According to Ms. Stephanie, the competition’s art director, beyond mastering color coordination, creativity, and aesthetics, participants also develop perseverance, collaboration skills, and the ability to work under time constraints—valuable qualities beyond art.

Held on February 14, 2025—Valentine’s Day—this year’s competition took students on an emotional journey, encouraging them to explore love in all its forms. During Art Club sessions, they delved into the theme, discovering that love is not limited to romance but also encompasses family bonds, friendship, appreciation for nature, compassion for animals, and even self-love. Through this creative process, they realized that love is a force that inspires kindness, connection, and the sharing of meaningful values.
