STEM EXPLORERS: LEARNING WITHOUT BORDERS 

At Sakura – Olympia, learning is not confined to classroom walls or limited to isolated areas of knowledge. Students are encouraged to explore the world with an open mindset—learning through experience, hands-on practice, and meaningful interaction—within a multicultural, highly connected educational environment. Our curriculum is designed with flexibility, harmoniously integrating academic foundations, skills development, and values education, enabling each student to build confidence, resilience, and the capacity for global integration. 

It is from these distinctive educational values that Olympia presents the Open Day “STEM Explorers: Learning Without Borders”, where the school’s educational philosophy is vividly reflected through each learning experience. The theme Learning Without Borders embodies Olympia’s belief that learning extends beyond the four walls of the classroom into open spaces, where students observe, explore, and interact with the world around them. At the same time, learning transcends national boundaries and language barriers, fostering an international mindset and readiness to connect in a global context. 

WHAT STUDENTS AND PARENTS WILL EXPERIENCE? 

During the Open Day, students aged 6–12 will take part in age-appropriate experiential activities in STEM, Mathematics, Vietnamese Language, and English, designed to encourage observation, hands-on practice, and discovery. Parents will have the opportunity to observe how their children learn, interact, and develop, while also receiving professional consultation to gain deeper insight into Olympia’s curriculum and long-term educational pathways. 

PROGRAM INFORMATION 

Time: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM, Saturday, January 31, 2026 

Venue: Sakura – Olympia, 63 Le Van Long Street, Hai Chau District, Da Nang 

Participants: Parents and students aged 6–12

HIGHLIGHTED EXPERIENCES AT OPEN DAY 

STEM Station – Science & Technology 

Students engage with science in a vivid and accessible way through microscope observation, simple scientific experiments, basic robot operation, and creative hands-on activities. Learning is driven by curiosity and excitement, helping children see science as closely connected to everyday life. 

Mathematics & Vietnamese Language Experiences 

Activities are thoughtfully designed to suit students’ developmental stages, helping them become familiar with foundational learning approaches in Mathematics and Vietnamese—two key subjects at the primary level. 

English Language Experience 

Students explore English through engaging games and activities, experiencing Olympia’s approach to English as a second language in a natural and enjoyable way. 

Free English Assessment & 1–1 Consultation 

In addition to student experiences, parents are invited to participate in a free English proficiency assessment for their children and engage in one-on-one consultation with Olympia’s academic team to better understand appropriate learning pathways. 

A GATEWAY TO THE OLYMPIA PRIMARY PROGRAM 

The Open Day “STEM Explorers: Learning Without Borders” represents a condensed preview of Olympia’s Primary Programme. As a Cambridge International School (VN291), Olympia implements an integrated Primary program that harmoniously combines the Vietnamese National Curriculum, the Cambridge Primary Programme, and the School-based Programme. Through the Open Day, parents and students can directly observe how the curriculum is delivered in practice—from teaching approaches to the learning environment—while gaining insight into Olympia’s educational philosophy and long-term developmental pathways.
