The Olympia’s Got Talent 2025 competition, themed “Bright Stars of Olympia,” is a vibrant stage where every Olympia student can confidently showcase their talents, spread positive energy, and nurture mental well-being. 

This artistic playground encourages all Primary and Secondary students to express their individuality and shine in their own unique way. With a focus on the core value “Mental Health,” the competition aims to foster positive emotions, provide opportunities for students to develop performance skills, communication, teamwork, and artistic passion, while strengthening community connections. It is also a wonderful occasion for parents, teachers, and friends to witness the most dazzling moments of Olympia’s “little stars.” 

1. PARTICIPANTS

The competition is open to all Primary and Middle School students of Olympia (as contestants or audience members). 

2. TIMELINE AND COMPETITION ROUNDS

2.1. Registration period: October 13 – October 17, 2025. Students register for participation via the provided registration link. 

2.2. Class-level Auditions: October 13 – October 24, 2025. Homeroom teachers will conduct an initial evaluation of registered performances during class sessions based on criteria of safety, cultural appropriateness, and creativity. Teachers will provide guidance and support for students to refine their acts before entering the preliminary rounds. 

2.3. Preliminary Rounds: October 27 – October 31, 2025 

- Opening Ceremony & Round 1: 8:00 – 9:30 a.m., Monday, October 27, 2025 

- Round 2: 2:30 – 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 31, 2025 

From these rounds, 15–20 outstanding performances will advance to the Semifinal. 

2.4. Semifinal Round: 2:30 – 5:00 p.m., Friday, November 7, 2025. Select 8–10 excellent performances to compete in the Final Round. 

2.5. Final Round: 2:30 – 4:30 p.m., Friday, November 14, 2025 

3. REQUIREMENTS FOR PERFORMANCE ENTRIES AND SCORING CRITERIA

3.1. Format: Students may participate individually or in groups (maximum of 6 members per group). Mixed teams of Elementary and Secondary students are encouraged to enhance connection and collaboration. 

3.2. Costume Requirements: Contestants must wear costumes suitable for their performance, ensuring appropriateness and safety. Teachers and staff members should wear school uniforms. Parents attending or cheering are kindly invited to dress elegantly. 

3.3. Performance Categories and Duration:

- Solo/Group Singing, Choir: 3–5 minutes 

- Dance, Modern Dance, Dance Cover: 3–4 minutes 

- Musical Instruments (piano, guitar, violin, drums, flute, etc.): 3–5 minutes 

- Drama, Skits, Comedy: 5–7 minutes 

- Magic, Beatbox, Rap, Martial Arts Performances: 3–5 minutes 

- Poetry Recitation, Storytelling, MC Hosting: 3–4 minutes 

3.4. Scoring Criteria 

- Performance Skills: 30 points (Vocal quality, technique, rhythm, accuracy) 

- Creativity & Originality: 20 points (Concept, choreography, artistic style, creative expression) 

- Expression & Stage Presence: 20 points (Confidence, audience engagement, contribution to mental well-being) 

- Difficulty & Preparation: 20 points (Costume, props, effort, and rehearsal quality) 

- Team Spirit/Performance Attitude: 10 points (Collaboration, attitude, and community connection)
