The festive atmosphere of the Year of the Snake 2025 is everywhere, bringing joy and anticipation for a new beginning. At Sakura - Olympia, spring is even more vibrant with colorful “Spring Festival” activities waiting to be explored.
1. Spring Festival at Sakura Kindergarten
1.1. Time: 8:30 AM – 11:15 AM, Friday, January 17, 2025
1.2. Location: 63 Le Van Long, Hai Chau, Da Nang
1.3. Participants: All preschool students of Sakura Preschool
1.4. Activities:
- Birthday celebration for students born in January, with gifts and best wishes.
- Enjoying lively spring-themed performances.
- Exploring traditional stalls featuring Tet activities such as making festive products, wrapping Chung cakes, preparing candied coconut, and baking festive cakes.
2. Miracle Melody Concert by Olympia Primary Students
2.1. Time: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM, Friday, January 17, 2025
2.2. Location: PE Room, 63 Le Van Long, Hai Chau, Da Nang
2.3. Participants: Primary students of Olympia Primary, Middle, and High School
2.4. Activities:
The "Miracle Melody" concert, performed by Olympia primary students, offers a platform for them to showcase their achievements and growth. Parents will witness the diverse talents of their children through performances such as drum dances, choreography, piano solos, and instrumental ensembles.
This event not only enhances students' confidence and musical inspiration but also fosters a connection with their peers and the community through meaningful songs conveying love and hope.
3. Tet Collection Festival for Primary and Middle Students
3.1. Time: 7:00 AM – 11:30 AM, Saturday, January 18, 2025
3.2. Location: 63 Le Van Long, Hai Chau, Da Nang
3.3. Participants: Primary and middle students of Olympia Primary, Middle, and High School
3.4. Activities:
The Tet Collection 2025 is a highlight of January, immersing the SOers family in a vibrant Tet celebration. Students and parents can join activities such as:
- Enjoying standout performances from the Miracle Melody concert.
- Participating in charity stalls to raise funds for the community: Under teachers' guidance, students collaborate in small groups to create handmade products for sale, such as Tet greeting cards, red envelopes, bracelets, scented candles, and festive gift bags.

- Experiencing Tet traditions: Through activities like making figurines (to he), calligraphy, painting traditional artworks, and recreating childhood games, students gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for Vietnamese culture. These experiences also enhance life skills, strengthen friendships, and create lasting memories.

- 8:00 AM – 8:15 AM: Introduction to the schedule & stall locations, icebreaker activities

- 8:45 AM – 9:15 AM: Enjoy performances from Miracle Melody
- 9:15 AM – 10:00 AM: Parents and students join traditional games and earn experience vouchers
- 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Visit traditional stalls: calligraphy, to he making, and crafts
- 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Auction of student-created paintings
- 11:30 AM – 11:50 AM: Lion dance performance
