Learning Journey 2026 “Beyond the Sky...” – A Journey of Exploring the World and Discovering Oneself

Learning Journey 2026 “Beyond the Sky...” – A Journey of Exploring the World and Discovering Oneself

Date Submitted: 30/05/2026

On the evening of May 28, 2026, the Sakura - Olympia campus became a gathering place for emotions, aspirations, and stories of growth during the year-end arts showcase, Learning Journey 2026, under the theme “Beyond the Sky...”. Continuing the journey of “Green Planet Mission” from the previous school year, this year’s Learning Journey not only encouraged students to reach for broader horizons of knowledge but also opened a journey of self-discovery, exploration of the world, and reflection on the core values of life.

If in 2025 students learned to listen to the call of the Earth and recognize their responsibility toward the environment, then in 2026, as the sky turned blue once again, new questions began to emerge: “What lies beyond the sky?” This question became the starting point of an inspiring journey, where young minds carried curiosity, courage, and an endless desire to explore.

THE BEGINNING OF DREAMS

Chapter I – The Beginning of Dreams

Every journey begins with something small: a childhood dream, the courage to try something new, or simply the moment a child starts believing in themselves. Chapter I – The Beginning of Dreams recreated those first steps of growth through the performances Vươn Cao Việt Nam (Rising Vietnam), Try Everything, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and It's My Life.

Each performance had its own unique color, yet all told a common story about childhood, imagination, the courage to try, and the desire to shine. These were dreams growing stronger with time and a belief that every child can find their own path when given the opportunity to explore and express themselves.

The performance “Vươn Cao Việt Nam” by Sun 1 and Sun 2 carried the enthusiasm, confidence, and aspirations of Vietnamese youth.

The performance “Try Everything” brought positive energy and showcased the spirit of embracing challenges among students from Mercury 1 and Mercury 2.

Students from Mars class invited the audience into a colorful childhood world filled with imagination through their performance of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”

The performance “It’s My Life” featured a dynamic and energetic presentation by Grade 7 students.

EXPLORING NEW HORIZONS

Chapter II – Exploring New Horizons

From those first dreams, the journey expanded into the wider world. Chapter II – Exploring New Horizons invited the audience into a world of questions, where curiosity became the driving force behind continuous learning and discovery.

From the simple question “Why?” in The Journey of Why, to reflections on the future in Một Ngày Nào Đó (Someday), the unique colors of Opalite, the historical milestones presented in Khoảnh Khắc Lịch Sử (Historical Moments), the creativity demonstrated in Science Showcase, and the exploration of Vietnam’s cultural beauty in Một Vòng Việt Nam (A Journey Around Vietnam)—all portrayed a generation of students who learn not only to know, but also to understand.

Through diverse learning experiences, students were encouraged to ask questions, think independently, explore science, history, culture, and the world around them. This reflects the educational philosophy that Sakura - Olympia consistently pursues: nurturing proactive, confident learners who are ready to step beyond their limits and explore new horizons.

The performance “The Journey of Why” by Earth class opened a journey of exploring knowledge and the world around us, beginning with one very simple question: “Why?”

Through the heartfelt melodies of “Một Ngày Nào Đó (Someday),” high school students shared the thoughts and emotions that come with growing up and how those experiences help each person become stronger.

The performance “Opalite” featured a confident presentation by Grade 8 students.

The Grade 6 performance “Khoảnh Khắc Lịch Sử (Historical Moments)” guided the audience through significant milestones of the past to better understand the value of the present.

Through “Science Showcase,” Grade 9 students introduced fascinating scientific phenomena to the audience, demonstrating how perseverance and a spirit of exploration help transform ideas into reality.

Chapter II concluded with “Một Vòng Việt Nam (A Journey Around Vietnam)” performed by Venus 1 and Venus 2, taking the audience on an emotional journey through the beauty of Vietnamese culture.

GROWING UP WITH A GREEN PLANET

Chapter III – Growing Up with a Green Planet

After dreams and exploration, what remains is not only knowledge but also the ability to love, share, and live responsibly within the community.

Chapter III – Growing Up with a Green Planet brought profound emotions through the performances Ba Kể Con Nghe (Father Tells Me Stories), Chạm Đến Ước Mơ (Touching Dreams), and the special choir performance Trống Cơm.

If Ba Kể Con Nghe reminded us of family love—the place where life’s first lessons are passed down through care and protection—then Chạm Đến Ước Mơ affirmed the importance of perseverance and resilience in pursuing one’s aspirations.

The program concluded with the familiar folk melody of Trống Cơm, as students created a meaningful moment of connection among the school, families, and the wider community. It was also a reminder that growing up is not only about going farther, but also about appreciating cultural values, relationships, and the good things that nurture us every day.

The performance “Ba Kể Con Nghe” by Grade 12 students told the heartfelt story of a father’s message to his children, delivering a touching and meaningful tribute to family and kinship.

The performance “Chạm Đến Ước Mơ” by middle school students conveyed to everyone the spirit of perseverance and the determination to pursue dreams.

The choir performance “Trống Cơm”—a familiar, vibrant, and beloved Vietnamese folk song—brought the memorable Learning Journey celebration to a close.

BEYOND THE SKY ARE NEW HORIZONS

Learning Journey 2026 has come to an end, but the question “What lies beyond the sky?” remains in the hearts of everyone who attended.

Perhaps it is the dreams that continue to grow. Perhaps it is the new horizons waiting to be explored. Or perhaps it is the ongoing journey of self-improvement toward becoming the best version of oneself.

At Sakura - Olympia, education is not only about providing knowledge but also about accompanying students on their journey of self-discovery, nurturing compassion, responsibility, and a desire to contribute positively to the community. Learning Journey 2026 concluded with applause and bright smiles, but the journey of growth for each student continues—with new dreams, new discoveries, and new horizons waiting ahead.
