OLYMPIA CONCLUDES THE 2025–2026 SCHOOL YEAR: EVERY MILESTONE MARKS A STEP OF GROWTH

Date Submitted: 29/05/2026

May 29, 2026 became a special milestone for the teachers and students of Olympia Primary, Middle and High School. In a formal yet emotional atmosphere, the School held the 2025–2026 School Year Closing Ceremony, the Graduation Ceremony for Grade 5 and Grade 9 students, and the Farewell Ceremony for the Grade 12 Class of 2023–2026. The event was not only an opportunity to look back on a school year filled with achievements, but also a meaningful occasion to celebrate important milestones in students’ growth across different grade levels.

On May 29, 2026, the Olympia campus was filled with excitement as students, parents, and teachers gathered for the end-of-year ceremonies.

The 2025–2026 school year at Olympia was enriched by a wide range of academic, experiential, and extracurricular activities. Students showcased their talents at Olympia’s Got Talent, challenged their thinking through The Clash of Minds and Olympia Scholar’s Cup, and competed enthusiastically in events such as Spelling Bee, Countdown, and Olympia Sport Day. They also took part in meaningful learning experiences through STEM Day, Book Week & Super Reader, Learning Journey, Classroom Without Walls, and the academic and cultural exchange program with Punggol Secondary School (Singapore).

Each activity provided opportunities for students to explore knowledge, develop skills, collaborate with others, think creatively, overcome challenges, and express themselves with confidence. Together, these experiences shaped a memorable school year and contributed to students’ growth in many different ways.

Academic, artistic, athletic, and experiential activities helped create a vibrant and meaningful school year for Olympia students.

During the Closing Ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Tuyet, Principal of the School, delivered the end-of-year address and performed the traditional drum ceremony to officially conclude the 2025–2026 school year. The School also recognized and honored outstanding students, award-winning students, excellent students, and exemplary classes for their achievements throughout the year.

The accomplishments celebrated during the ceremony reflected not only academic success, but also the perseverance, responsibility, and determination demonstrated by Olympia students.

Following the Closing Ceremony, the Farewell Ceremony for the Grade 12 Class of 2023–2026 took place. The program began with the video “The Journey of Growth,” which brought back memories from the students’ three years of high school. From their first days filled with uncertainty to becoming more confident and resilient young adults, students had the opportunity to reflect on how far they had come.

The ceremony became even more meaningful through heartfelt messages from teachers, parents, and students. One of the most emotional moments was the bowing ceremony, during which students expressed their gratitude and apologies to their parents. Flowers, warm embraces, and tears of emotion spoke the words that had often remained unspoken throughout their journey of growing up.

The final event of the day was the Graduation Ceremony for Grade 5 and Grade 9 students, marking another important academic milestone. As they watched a video reflecting on their journey, students revisited the lessons, projects, activities, and memories they had shared throughout their years at Olympia.

As students received their graduation certificates and commemorative trophies, they carried with them not only the achievements of a completed stage of learning, but also confidence, a love of learning, and readiness for new challenges ahead. Flowers of appreciation for teachers, heartfelt messages from parents and students, and the graduation cap toss created memorable moments to celebrate this special milestone.

While different goals, choices, and opportunities lie ahead, they all carry forward the values nurtured at Olympia: knowledge, confidence, responsibility, gratitude, and a lifelong passion for learning.

The 2025–2026 school year has officially come to a close. We wish all Olympia students a meaningful summer filled with new experiences, continued growth, and the confidence to pursue the exciting journeys that await them.
